There has been little disruption to service provided by IKE during the pandemic and they have responded to urgent requirements in the same way as before the pandemic, and prioritised where needed. They have adapted their way of working so that there is no disruption and appear to have a taken a ‘business as usual’ approach. Where we have had issues with tenants, Cindy has been able to provide support remotely so that issues are dealt with straight away. Our recent partnership working with IKE Supported Housing has seen the successful development of Supported Living accommodation for adults with Learning Disabilities in West Yorkshire. The process as a whole was very efficient with Martyn on hand to liaise and support the development to its logical conclusion.

My son was resident in IKE accommodation for a number of years. The management and support of the company was outstanding. The ethos was empathetic and very service user focused. As the parent of a tenant living in Leeds, I have occasionally liaised with IKE over the last 10 years or so. During that time I have always found them to be helpful and considerate in sorting out the inevitable small problems that occur from time to time. They are good at managing the site and are easy to work with. 10/10.
As a bonus, they also made an invaluable suggestion for a part-time work placement for my son. Several years later he is still happily working as a volunteer at Skelton Grange Conservation Centre on Fridays. He enjoys the outdoor physical activity there and is well treated and respected by all the staff. It was an invaluable suggestion that has worked out really well.
